About this Map...
We looked at seventeen states to try to determine the risk of pre-election day litigation occurring in each of them. This map shows that four states have a high risk of litigation, four states have a low risk, and the rest are somewhere in between (methodology). Click on any state for more info. Litigation is currently ongoing in these states: Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin.
